Doug is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, licensed acupuncturist, herbalist and co-founder of 7 Gates Sanctuary specializing in integrative neurorehabilitation including emotional, neuro-cognitive and chronic pain conditions since 2011.

Certified in somatic psychedelic integration he also works with the Integrative Psychiatry Institute’s psychedelic-assisted therapy program. Dr. Wingate has written multiple books on brain health and consciousness, and lectures and teaches to international audiences on topics ranging from integrative medicine, brain and body healing, trauma, and psychedelics.
