FULL BIO

After nearly 20 years as a therapist, Karin now works as a licensed psilocybin facilitator and coach in Portland, Oregon. Her focus is supporting thoughtful clients who feel like they’ve been carrying it all—career, family, relationships—and are ready for deeper connections with a partner or with themselves. She's dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, compassionate space where clients feel seen and understood. Her strong scientific background combined with her spirituality help her connect to a wide range of clients so they can overcome depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, or explore other ways to grow.

She also works with couples, both in traditional and non-traditional relationship structures, who want to improve communication, rebuild trust, or rekindle intimacy. Her clients often come to her feeling drained, disconnected, or stuck in long-term relationship patterns. Together, Karin and her clients work on:

- Building self-trust and protecting energy without guilt

- Setting healthy boundaries with compassion

- Releasing old resentments and stories that keep them small

- Strengthening intimacy and authentic communication

- Exploring plant medicine as a tool for midlife growth and clarity

Karin's approach draws from coaching, clinical psychology, and Internal Family Systems. She brings nearly two decades of experience supporting individuals and couples through transition. Karin's perspective is also shaped by work across industries (tech, healthcare, corrections, nonprofit, education), as well as internationally in Ethiopia and South Africa. As a wife and mother herself, Karin deeply understands the lived experience of these roles.

At the heart of it all, Karin's work is about connection—to self, to others, and to purpose. ✨
