FULL BIO
Kara is a licensed naturopathic doctor and trauma-informed facilitator who brings both medical expertise and deep empathy to their work. With specialized training in naturopathic medicine, gender-affirming care, and trauma support, Kara creates an inclusive and affirming environment for every client—particularly those who identify as queer, neurodivergent, or living with chronic illness.
Their background includes extensive experience with complex medical conditions such as Lyme disease and co-infections, mycotoxin and mold illness, autoimmune disorders, cancer, and chronic digestive conditions. Kara also frequently collaborates with or screens clients who present with high-risk medical factors to ensure their safety and readiness for psilocybin therapy.
As a vegan and a member of the queer and neurodivergent communities, Kara brings lived experience and authenticity to their practice—helping clients feel seen, understood, and supported throughout every phase of their healing journey. In their free time, Kara is a visual artist who enjoys painting and creating botanical prints and eco-dyed textiles inspired by the natural world.
